January 2021
Since I can't cob or do plaster now, I've been working on various other things:
– Got masonry done on the little table/footrest in front of the bench; stained stones w/wash of red clay & masonry tint.
– Made cushions for the bench; used the outdoor cloth tarp I'd made to protect everything before roof was done.
– Got repurposed gutters in, the last one being a bent length of roof panel; goes to water catchment for garden.
– Got flashing in between studio roof & natural building roof.

Finally got an okay photo after getting gutter up. Cob oven, bench for afternoon sunning on the left, pajareque wall above middle window, repurposed roofing, roof structure supported with logs Jen D. & I harvested on the mountain & I built. Solarium on the right windows repurposed from my colleagues (needs interior finishing & rocket stove).
